1. Who we are

GradScreen Recruitment Limited ("we", "us", "GradScreen") provides career support services, including CV feedback and job-search advice. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, under registration number C1993410.

2. Eligibility

This service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We ask you to confirm this when you submit an enquiry. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through this form.

3. What we collect

4. How we use it

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

5. Who else sees it

To provide the automatic CV read, the contents of your CV are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model we use for this feature) for processing. To send confirmation and notification emails, your name and email address are sent to Resend, our email delivery provider. Both act as data processors on our instructions. Anthropic's commercial terms, which govern API use, state that data sent via the API is not used to train their models. Neither provider uses your data for their own marketing purposes.

6. How long we keep it

We keep everything you send us for 90 days from the date you submit your enquiry. That includes your original CV file, your contact details, the information extracted from your CV, and the AI-generated summary. After 90 days it is deleted automatically. If you go on to become a client of ours, we will tell you separately what we keep and for how long as part of that relationship.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent to us processing it. You can exercise any of these rights at any time using the contact details below, and it will not affect how we treat you.

8. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or requests to access, correct, or delete your data, can be sent to enquiries@gradscreen.com. We aim to respond within one month, as required under UK GDPR. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
